In general, known in the tourism industry a "North Country" tour as a cruise with a music boat from Bremerhaven and Hamburg for Iceland, Greenland, Spitsbergen and back through the fjords of Norway to Germany. In the summer they are very popular, but it is beyond the Arctic Circle during the night as bright as day and you can celebrate 24-hour vodka parties with millions of years old glacial ice as ice on the outside decks. I too was once on such a boat trip there and had as a teacher on board the MV Astoria guests the legends and myths of Nordic trolls fairies and closer.
Well then - my personal Nordland interview tour was unfortunately nothing glorified beautifully with this trip to do, because it was really hard work. Over 1,700 km I had at the end of this 12-day tour reeled off with my Ford Focus diesel.
